Smakoo Subscriptions
Creating an account on Smakoo is free, and it will stay that way. A subscription removes the limits of the free account: more conversations, more likes, and access to what really helps you get noticed.
You can change your subscription or go back to free whenever you want. No commitment, no forced renewal: you choose a duration, and it stops at the end.
The four levels
- Free — 5 new conversations per day, 50 likes per day, 1 Super Like per day. You see advertising. Private photos stay blurred and you do not know who visited your profile.
- Plus — 30 new conversations per day, 500 likes per day, 3 Super Likes per day, 1 free Boost per month. Video calls open up, and so do private photos. No more advertising.
- Gold — 100 new conversations per day, 2,000 likes per day, 5 Super Likes per day, 3 free Boosts per month. You see who visited your profile and who liked you — the two lists that save you the most time.
- Platinium — unlimited conversations and likes, 10 Super Likes per day, 5 free Boosts per month. This is the complete level.
What each level changes, in detail
- New conversations per day — the number of people you can write to first within the same day. Free: 5. Plus: 30. Gold: 100. Platinium: unlimited.
- Likes per day — the number of profiles you can like. Free: 50. Plus: 500. Gold: 2,000. Platinium: unlimited.
- Super Likes per day — see below for what a Super Like is. Free: 1. Plus: 3. Gold: 5. Platinium: 10.
- Free Boosts per month — Free: none. Plus: 1. Gold: 3. Platinium: 5.
- Video calls — Free: no. From Plus upwards: yes.
- Private photos — the ability to unlock the photos a member keeps for their contacts. Free: no. From Plus upwards: yes.
- Who visited your profile — Free: no. Gold and Platinium: yes.
- Who liked you — Free: no. Gold and Platinium: yes.
- Advertising — the free account shows advertising. All subscriptions remove it.
The prices
- Plus — $7.99 for 30 days · $19.99 for 90 days · $34.99 for 180 days
- Gold — $14.99 for 30 days · $37.99 for 90 days · $64.99 for 180 days
- Platinium — $22.99 for 30 days · $57.99 for 90 days · $99.99 for 180 days
Taking 90 or 180 days always costs less per month than 30 days. The price shown is the price you pay: no sign-up fees, no hidden fees.
Credits, and why they are not the same thing
A subscription opens rights that last. Credits, on the other hand, pay for one specific action, once. The two are independent: a Gold member can very well buy credits for an extra, and a free member can use the 50 credits offered at sign-up without ever paying for a subscription.
When you sign up, Smakoo offers 50 credits to try things out.
- 1,000 credits — $4.99
- 2,500 credits — $9.99
- 5,000 credits — $14.99
The bigger the package you take, the less each credit costs. Credits do not expire.
What a credit can buy
- 150 credits — Rise up to the top: your profile goes back to the top of the search results.
- 150 credits — Boost: your profile is highlighted in the Encounters section.
- 182 credits — Spotlight: be seen in first position, in large format, in Discover.
- 200 credits — appear at the top of Discover for a set period of time.
- 200 credits — unlock the private photos of a profile.
- 250 credits — reset your daily conversation limit, so you can keep writing without waiting until tomorrow.
- 400 credits — a pack of 10 Super Likes.
How to subscribe
- Open the Premium page from your profile, or from the menu.
- Choose a level, then a duration.
- Pay by bank card, or with the payment method offered at the time of purchase.
- The subscription is active immediately, with no waiting.
Your purchase history is in your settings, in the payments section.
Frequently asked questions
- Does my subscription renew by itself? No. You choose a duration, it runs, then it stops. You take back control whenever you want.
- What happens at the end? You go back to the free level, without losing your account, your photos, your conversations or your credits. The advantages of the paid level simply stop.
- Are my credits kept if I go back to free? Yes. The credits you bought belong to you and do not disappear.
- Can I change level along the way? Yes, at any time.
- Can I get a refund? Write to us through the contact form describing your situation. Every request is reviewed.
- Will the free level ever disappear? No.
